“Breekbaar” (Fragile) is an intimate character study centering on Willem, an elderly man suffering with dementia.

With Breekbaar, Wesley Reid undertook his first fully self produced film, created alongside his friends as a school project. It marked the first time he carried a project from idea to completion on his own terms. The experience became a foundation for his development, teaching him how creative vision and practical execution must work together.

More than an assignment, Breekbaar was the moment Reid began to see filmmaking not just as a passion, but as something he could build with his own hands from the ground up.
